Washington, DC (February 1, 2012) – From aligning technology and academic curricula to preparing for online common core assessments, the Consortium for School Networking’s (CoSN’s) pre- and post-annual conference events will cover key topics to help empower K-12 education decision makers with the strategies and tools needed to effectively advance education technology leadership in their schools and school districts. The events will be held in conjunction with CoSN’s 17th Annual Conference, CoSN 2012: Reimagine Learning, which will take place March 5-7, 2012, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. Six pre-conference workshops will be held on March 4. Following the conference on March 7, an event on Bridging Formal and Informal Learning will be held at the Smithsonian's Hirshhorn Museum of Art. On March 8, CoSN will lead visits to two Washington, DC-area schools that are making innovative uses of technology for college and career readiness and to serve students with special needs.
