About the CoSN Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is CoSN’s governing body, whose primary interest is to establish policy, provide direction, and perform oversight.  The Board’s combined experience and dedication play an extremely important role in charting the future for chief technology leaders. All Board members serve three-year rotating terms and may run for two consecutive terms.

The CoSN Board of Directors is made up of 18 highly-skilled current members representing the three membership categories of CoSN—Institutional, Corporate and Individual.  The majority of seats are represented by Institutional members, CoSN’s largest membership category.  Two Directors represent the Corporate Membership and are elected by the Corporate Members collectively.  One Director represents Individual members and is elected only by the individual members.
