CoSN Awards recognize individuals, teams, and volunteers who demonstrate outstanding vision in the use of information technologies and the Internet in K-12 education. Two of our awards have open nominations and our other awards are nominated by CoSN leadership, including staff and members.

Withrow CTO Award
Nominate (or self-nominate) an ed tech leader in U.S. K-12 who has been a true technology champion. Eligible applicants include technology leaders from public school districts as well as charter/private/parochial/independent schools or school systems. The nominee does not have to be a CoSN member. The winner is honored at the CoSN Annual Conference 2013 and receives one complimentary conference registration and $1,000 toward travel expenses. Learn More or Nominate a CTO.
TEAM Award
CoSN recognizes an outstanding leadership team whose impact on learning has been transformative for the school system. Nominate (or self-nominate) a school district or educational service agency (serving multiple districts) which merits national recognition. The nominee does not have to be a CoSN member. The winning team is honored at the CoSN Annual Conference 2013 and receives four complimentary conference registrations and $2,000 toward travel expenses. Learn More or Nominate a Team.
Additional Awards
Award for Excellence in Public Service
CoSN's highest award recognizes an elected or appointed national, state, or local official for promoting the use of information technology and the Internet to improve K-12 learning. Learn More.
Private Sector Champion
CoSN honors an individual from the private sector who goes "above and beyond" to give back to the education technology community. Learn More.
Volunteer of the Year Award
Recognizes the achievements of a CoSN member who has provided exemplary support to CoSN over the past year, based on committee chair recommendations. Learn More.
Volunteer Hall of Fame
Honors the many outstanding members of CoSN Committees, Advisory Councils, and Task Forces. To become an active volunteer, become a CoSN member. View honorees.
