CoSN 2013 Pre- and Post-Conference Events to Empower District Leadership in 21st Century Digital Age
Will Feature Professional Development Workshops and Exclusive Tour of San Diego Schools Leading the Way in Ed Tech

Washington, DC (February 8, 2013) – Prior to and following the Consortium for School Networking’s (CoSN) 2013 Annual Conference, March 11-13 in San Diego, CA, the association will hold several professional development events featuring K-12 education technology insights and best practices worldwide. On Monday, March 11, CoSN will host its 2013 International Symposium, which will address the importance of building the digital bridge between schools and the home. Also on Monday, March 11, CoSN will conduct three concurrent morning workshops and three concurrent afternoon workshops on the following topics: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Certification preparation; Leadership for Mobile Learning Administrator’s Guide; Teaming for Transformation blended learning initiative; designing education networks; CTO trends; and E-Rate strategies. On Thursday, March 14, CoSN will lead visits to San Diego Unified School District’s Dana Middle School and Nye Elementary – two model 21st century learning environments. Pre- and post-Annual Conference events require advance sign-up. Online registration is open until Thursday, February 21.
