Finding Your Pathway to Success
Held on April 12

What are the skills that you, the district technology leader, need to know to succeed? How have these skills changed in recent years? The co-chair of CoSN's CTO Certification Committee will discuss the evolving role of today's CTO and work of the committee to develop the Framework of Essential Skills of the K-12 CTO. Hear from two CTOs who have come to their positions from different paths. They will share how they use the Framework to guide their own work and professional growth. Participants will receive a self-assessment survey designed to help provide a personal professional development roadmap of what they need (or what is needed on their team) to be successful 21st century technology leaders. Finally, there will be a brief progress report on CoSN’s certification program activities based on the Framework.
