Missy Brooks, Director of Instruction
Mountain Brook Schools (AL)
Dr. Missy Brooks is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Mountain Brook Schools in Birmingham, Alabama. She taught English and science for 13 years before taking a position as an assistant principal in 2004. Since then, she worked with several Birmingham-based school districts in administration prior to working in Mountain Brook. She graduated from the University of Alabama, obtained her master's degree in English from Troy University, and completed her Education Specialist degree at the University of Montevallo. Recently, Dr. Brooks received her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Samford University. In addition to serving Mountain Brook Schools, she is an adjunct professor at Samford University where she teaches pre-service teachers and works with doctoral students.

Brian Bridges, Director
California Learning Resource Network
Brian Bridges is the Director of the California Learning Resource Network, a state-funded technology service that reviews online courses, supplemental electronic learning resources, free web links, and data assessment tools for K-12 educators. A graduate of San Francisco State University with a Masters from the University of San Francisco, Previously, Brian was President of the Computer Using Educators Board of Directors. Brian began his career as a middle school English, drama, and computer teacher, leaving after 20 years to serve as program manager of CTAP Region 6. He blogs about the online course revolution at: brianbridges.org. He and his lovely wife, Mia,play doubles together, and have a house in Nanjing.
