9TH ANNUAL DINNER & AUCTION FOR ADVOCACY

		Held during the Annual Conference, the Dinner & Auction for Advocacy is a fundraising event to support CoSN’s advocacy efforts and gathers those who share our vision of bringing 21^st century learning to our nation’s schools. You can purchase a ticket to the Auction as part of your conference registration or just to attend the Auction only. INDIVIDUAL TICKETS ARE LIMITED. If you have already registered for the conference and would like to add an auction ticket to your existing registration, please call (202) 861-2676 xt. 120. If you’d like to purchase a ticket to attend the auction, please contact annualconference@cosn.org.

THE PRADO AT BALBOA PARK
The 2013 Auction will be held at the historic Prado at Balboa Park. The Prado at Balboa Park is a National Historic Landmark which was originally built for the 1915-16 Panama-California Exposition, a two year festival was held in Balboa Park to promote San Diego and to celebrate the 1914 opening of the Panama Canal. In 2000, The Prado reopened after a complete reconstruction and modernization to Balboa Park. Every effort was made to historically renovate the original Spanish, Moorish and Mexican architectural style of the area.

iPAD BIDDING

Bidding on items at the Auction is both interactive and easy. Our bidding process is done wirelessly via your own iPad which list all auction items up for bid, allows you to make bids and updates you if you’ve been out bid. You will receive your own iPad valet to help you with the process.

You don't need any technical expertise. Get an advance preview of the online auction catalog before the event. The catalog is updated in real-time as new items are added and made up for bid. Although you can view catalog items now, live bidding will not begin until March.
