CoSN is dedicated to advancing the K12 education technology leader through providing educational resources, staying ahead of education technology research and giving the CTO access to industry experts.  In providing professional resources such as certification, online educational leadership series combined with national and regional events, CoSN propels your professional growth.

In difficult economic times it’s sometimes difficult to justify the cost of attending another conference.  We have worked to make this event not only a hub of industry knowledge and networking, but a true professional development experience for all attendees.

 Funding Your Attendance

Looking for ways to fund your attendance:

  • Ask your school district about professional development funds available for your use.
  • Register as a group.  CoSN’s group registration option gives a discount of $50 per registrant of a group of 3 or more from the same organization.
  • Find a travel companion with whom to split transportation and hotel costs. A conference “buddy” can create a great peer networking opportunity and can enhance the conference experience for first-time attendees.
  • Pay attention to important deals and deadlines.  Many wait until the last minute to take advantage of special savings opportunities provided by conference organizers and end up missing out.  The Annual Conference will not extend discount or application deadlines, so pay close attention to advertised listed deadlines and important dates.

Small District Scholarship: If you are a current CoSN member from a small school district (<2,500 students) you can apply for a conference scholarship by November 1, 2012.

CoSN offers opportunities to help you find ways to fund your attendance:

REGISTRATION   Early Registration: Register for the conference before December 17, 2012 and receive savings of $50 off the regular registration fee.

  Institutional Member Savings: Institutional members receive an additional 15% off the early registration fee if they renew their membership by September 30, 2012.  
         
    Small District Scholarship: For current CoSN members from small school districts with less than 2,500 students.  Apply to receive a registration scholarship to attend the conference live or for a virtual live streaming registration. (4) four winners will be announced, (2) two winners for onsite registration and (2) winners for virtual registration.  Application are due by November 1, 2012.
  
         
    A 5th scholarship winner will be announced from the small district scholarship application process.  This 5th scholarship is sponsored by C. Blohm & Associates, Inc. and will be for an onsite registration scholarship. This scholarship winner will be introduced to CB&A president, Charlene Blohm.    
       
ACCOMMODATIONS   Reservation Booking: Book your hotel reservation by December 17, 2012 and enter a drawing for a chance to win (2) two night's complimentary stay during the conference.
