  Travis Allen is a young visionary for Digital Learning in the classroom. Before graduating high school, Travis created a viral YouTube video on revolutionizing education in America through mobile learning. Today, Travis is a junior at Kennesaw State University (KSU), where he operates his growing non-profit organization, the iSchool Initiative. Working closely with the Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization at KSU he has been able to turn his vision into a full blown movement with schools all over the world adopting the iSchool Initiative's concept. Travis manages a team of thirty people who are touring the country providing seminars, workshops, publications, and a network for students and educators, to motivate them to embrace becoming life-long digital learners in the Information Age. Travis is quickly becoming one of the top leaders in the emerging digital learning revolution movement.
 

 

Jill Hobson is the Director of Instructional Technology for Forsyth County Schools. Her duties include managing the very successful implementation of the online learning management system and web content management system. She works closely with the Academics and Accountability division to promote the instructional technology uses that accelerate student learning through higher order thinking. Working with Media Specialists and Instructional Technology Specialists, Jill facilitates the development and implementation of professional learning related to instructional technology. Jill serves as the president and founding member of the Georgia Society for Instructional Technology (G-STE). Jill was named one of the National School Board Association's "Twenty to Watch", a list of 20 emerging leaders in technology. Jill is also an active member of the Consortium for School Networking and the Georgia K12 CTO Council.

   

Jason Hoekstra is former Technology Solutions Advisor for the U.S. Department of Education. Jason plans and implements social media and web-based solutions for citizen engagement and information dissemination. While at the Department, he has led the construction and roll out for Drupal websites such as TEACH.gov, Data.ED.gov, and IdeaEngine.ED.gov. Jason is also a frequent contributor to open data, open source, and open government efforts within the Department. He has more than 15 years of professional IT experience in software development and network engineering.


  Eric Shenninger is the Principal at New Milford High School located in Bergen County, NJ. He is passionate about establishing and fostering learning environments that are student-centered, collaborative, flexible, and prepare all learners to succeed in the 21st Century.

 As an educational administrator he firmly believes that effective communication, listening, support, shared decision making, and the integration of technology are essential elements necessary for the transformation of school cultures. Eric has emerged as an innovative leader in the use of social media and web 2.0 technology as tools to engage students, improve communications with stakeholders, and help educators grow professionally.  Eric is a NASSP Digital Principal Award winner (2012), Google Certified Teacher, ASCD 2011 Conference Scholar, co-author of "Communicating and Connecting With Social Media: Essentials for Principals", writer on education for the Huffington Post, co-creator of the Edscape Conference, sits on the FEA Board of Directors, and was named to the NSBA "20 to Watch" list in 2010 for technology leadership.  He now presents and speaks nationally to assist other school leaders embrace and effectively utilize technology. His blog, A Principal's Reflections, was selected as Best School Administrator Blog in 2011 by Edublogs.

The CTO Clinic has a block of at least 20 rooms at the Double Tree @ $99 Wednesday, June 13 - Thursday, June 14. The Duval, 415 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida, is not within walking distance, but is near downtown with a really nice top-of-the-hotel view.
