Feedback Focus Groups

The Feedback Focus Groups (FFG) are designed to enable school leaders to frame challenges they are facing and discuss key education technology issues in a focus group setting. Each forum has a specific focus of interest and concern to the K-12 education community as well as to SIIA-member education technology companies and the CoSN corporate members.

K-12 educators are increasingly using data to inform decisions about teaching and learning. In doing so, they face both challenges and opportunities as they seek answers to the following questions:

Should teachers be involved in purchasing data solutions focused on instruction and assessment?
Are there new strategies for providing data back to the learner/student in real time?
What best practices in professional development to prepare educators to use data effectively ?
Are you rewarding those who use data to inform instruction?
what do you really want from the vendors that provide data solutions?

Listen to CTOs, superintendents and other district leaders as they engage in a lively discussion on these issues.
