Data solution allows the sharing of student information in real time electronically through the use of TIES Personalized Learning System, the same system used by educators and parents in many public schools across Minnesota.  The Humphrey Institute selected this effort for a 2011 Local Government Innovation Award, which recognizes cities, counties and public schools that have used innovative practices to improve local services.
