The U.S. Department of Education is currently drafting a new National Education Technology Plan focused on four areas in which technology has potential to transform education: 1) Learning, 2) Assessment, 3) Teaching, and 4) Productivity.

CoSN is holding an online forum on using technology for productivity through October 19. CoSN's members are uniquely positioned to discuss how technology can be used by the enterprise of the school district to accomplish its mission, save resources and rethink education in 21st Century.

Please join the conversation. We have invited three leading CTO’s to provide their personal views on this discussion forum. You can respond to their ideas, or share your own thoughts. And, CoSN will be synthesizing this discussion and submitting ideas for the National Plan at the conclusion of the online forum.

Access the forums at http://tinyurl.com/cosntechplan. You will need to log-in to the CoSN website or create an account in order to post to the online forums.

More information on the National Plan is at https://edtechfuture.org.
