CoSN14 is almost here!

We can hardly believe it. After months of planning, CoSN14 is here! The conference kicks off next week here in DC, and we couldn't be more excited to see all of you from around the country and around the world. It's going to be a great event full of networking opportunities, strategic sessions, and updates about emerging technologies and the newest issues in the ed tech field (among them online assessments and E-rate reform).

Make sure you get the lay of the land before you get to DC by looking through the schedule. Our Schedule at a Glance will walk you through five packed days of programming, but for full session information, you'll want to download our mobile app (search "cosn" in the app store or visit http://app.core-apps.com/cosn2014).

What are you most excited for? Everyone's highlights will be different, but we're especially excited to hear from our great keynote speakers. The Opening Town Hall Forum will feature a lively discussion about Big Data, a hot-button issue. How can we use data to its fullest potential without compromising student privacy? Join in on the forum and start to find some answers! Our closing keynoter, David Pogue, promises to be just as exciting. He'll be making predictions about which emerging technologies will prove to be truly disruptive (place your bets now...it just might take a few years to find out if you've won), and he has a few surprises up his sleeve.

We're also looking forward to our first ever CoSNCamp (sponsored by Google). The "unconference" will give you a brand new way to interact with peers and corporate partners. You can set the agenda and engage in conversation about the topics that matter most to you. Did a breakout session leave you with a few questions? Drop by one of CoSNCamp's campfires to hash them out. The informal small group setting will be a perfect place to dig deeper into the issues.

During the conference, share your thoughts on twitter, facebook, and instagram using the #cosn14 and #cosncamp hashtags. This is your conference, so we want to hear about your experiences! See you next week.
