Keith Bockwoldt is Director of Technology Services for Township High School District 214 in Arlington Heights, IL., which serves more than 12,000 students. His District covers more than 67 square miles, has six comprehensive high schools, three special program schools and a large community education program.
Keith has more than 17 years of experience working in the field of education. As a visionary leader, he is a champion for public education and the infusion of instructional technology with a focus on innovation. With support from the District’s Board of Education and superintendent, Keith played a pivotal role in the District’s move to a 1:1 learning environment and digital transformation. Under his leadership, the District has received many awards, both locally and nationally. His District was honored by hosting a National School Boards Association (NSBA) Technology Site Visit focused on mobile learning in 2013. The District has also placed in the top five in Digital School Districts for the last six years recognized by the NSBA and the Center for Digital Education.
He has helped shape the development of innovative technology programs and learning environments. Working for a progressive and visionary superintendent, he supports the many fantastic programs in his District to help students achieve success beyond secondary education. Keith believes in preparing students with technology tools that will help businesses and entrepreneurs flourish in a digitally connected world.
