2010 Compendium: Building a Data Culture This monograph focuses on seven leading-edge school districts across the country where data-driven decision making is an integral part of their education culture. CoSN sought out the following school districts to examine how each is implementing data-driven decision making successfully: Fairfax County Public Schools (VA), Fentress County Schools (TN), Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District (MI), Pasadena Independent School District (TX), Richland County School District (SC), Los Angeles Unified School District (CA) and Montgomery County Public Schools (MD). Data are being used in all seven of these districts in a number of different ways.
