About CoSN's Emerging Technologies Series

The Emerging Technologies series was created by CoSN to accelerate and facilitate the use of emerging technologies in K-12 education. This effort is coordinated by the Emerging Technologies Committee, CoSN members from the public and private sector who are interested in and have experience with emerging technologies in K-12 education.

EdTechNext Mini-Reports

CoSN has launched EdTechNext, a new service of the CoSN Emerging Technologies Committee for CoSN members.

Emerging Technology Reports

Emerging Technology Committee members create reports on emerging technologies, present findings at conferences, serve as experts on technology use to the education media, and share reports through webcasts. To purchase a report, go to the CoSN Catalog.

Our Goals

  • Identify emerging technologies and innovative applications that have the potential to enhance K-12 teaching and learning or school administration and decision making.
  • Educate public, private, and legislative decision makers about emerging technologies as they are implemented and applied to K-12 education.
  • Draw on the knowledge of diverse committee members, members of CoSN and other experts to publish reports, present results, and facilitate discussion within the educational and commercial community.
