The experience of the CoSN delegation in Australia helped us all to articulate a vision of the future using the incredible possibilities of technology to improve and enrich the learning process for all students.

In closing, perhaps my biggest "take-away" from the past few days has been to get some glimpse of what is possible when stakeholders come together to create a vision for systemic change in education. It is invigorating to see the fresh approach that our Australia colleagues are taking and encouraging that we in the U.S. can learn from them, as well as from the U.K. and New Zealand, about how we might address some of the challenges faced by us all.

It also strengthened the resolve of the delegation to work together in addressing our common challenges in using technology as a tool for educational improvement.

There is an amazing amount of overlap in the issues affecting us in the US, Australia, NZ and the UK. Cooperation between countries facing similar issues in ICT in education could only be a benefit to the parties.
