Call for Presentations: CoSN’s 2015 Annual Conference

 Washington, DC (June 5, 2014) – CoSN (Consortium for School Networking) is accepting presentations and has opened registration for the association’s 2015 Annual Conference, themed “Enabling Your Digital Leap” (March 16-19).

CoSN 2015 – the 20th anniversary – will convene school system and industry leaders and experts, policymakers, nonprofit organizations and community members from across the globe in Atlanta, GA, for four days of thought-provoking, innovative workshops, panel discussions and exclusive networking opportunities.

“To successfully make the ‘digital leap,’ a district must have fundamental changes and a culture that is flexible and continuously improving,” said Pete Just, CETL, Co-Chair of CoSN 2015, and Chief Technology Officer, Wayne Township (Indianapolis, IN). “CoSN 2015 will ask the critical questions and press schools on the strategies that empower the transformational learning potential of digital resources.”

Joining Just as CoSN 2015 co-chairs are Michael M. Flood, Vice President of Strategy, Kajeet, and Lenny Schad, Chief Information Officer, Houston ISD (Houston, TX).

All interested presenters are asked to highlight two skills included in CoSN’s Framework of Essential Skills and should tie their presentations to one of the following conference focus areas:

  • Ubiquity & Access
  • Vision & Leadership
  • Pioneering Innovation
