Call for Nominations: NextGeneration Leaders

Nominations Period: October 7 – December 11, 2015

CoSN is looking for future technology leaders who are passionate about K-12 education technology and committed to its advancement. Nominate a candidate in your district whose potential and promise deserves recognition as a NextGeneration Leader in school networking.

Criteria: Nominees should reflect a spirit of leadership in the schools they serve and the broader education technology community that CoSN represents. Nominees cannot have more than five working years as an education technology professional, and must currently be employed by a K-12 school or district. While we encourage all to apply that meet the requirements, preference will go to leaders who are, or serve, underserved populations (i.e. women, minorities, small districts, rural districts, and inner city urban school districts). Nominations will be judged by a panel veteran education technology professionals assembled by CoSN and NextGeneration Leader sponsor and co-organizer, EdScoop.

Important dates:
  • Nominations are due by close of business December 11, 2015.
  • Voting will take place online from January 4 to January 29, 2016.
  • Winner notifications will be made privately by February 12, 2016.
  • Recognition ceremony will take place at CoSN’s Annual Conference in April 2016.
