DESCRIPTION:This course offers materials that align with the K-12 CTO’s Framework of Essential Skills\, the foundation used in developing the CETL Exam.\n\n\n\nIf you would like to be in a collaborative and supportive cohort the CETL® Foundation Course is for you! \nThe Summer 2022 class meets once a week from May 17th\, 2022 – August 2nd\, 2022 4:00-5:30 PM ET on Tuesdays. \n5/17 Introduction\n5/24  Skill Area 1: Leadership and Vision\n5/31 Skill Area 2: Strategic Planning\n6/7 Skill Area 3: Ethics and Policies\n6/14 Skill Area 4: Instructional Focus and Professional Development\n6/21 Skill Area 5: Team Building and Staffing\n6/28 Skill Area 6: Information Technology Management\n7/12 Skill Area 7: Communication Systems Management\n7/19 Skill Area 8: Business Management\n7/26 Skill Area 9: Data Management\n8/2 Skill  Area 10: Data Privacy and Security \n-Sessions are recorded if you are unable to make an individual session. \n \n-If there are spaces available\, participants may start the course within the first two weeks and catch up.
