SUMMARY:Leading Learning That Truly Meets the Needs of Each Student
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Dr. Jill Louters\, Superintendent\, New Rockford-Sheyenne School District (ND); Randy Squier\, Superintendent\, Coxsackie-Athens Central School District (NY); and Dr. Jason Van Heukelum\, Superintendent\, Winchester Public Schools (VA)\nModerated by Ann McMullan\, Project Director\, CoSN/AASA EmpowerED Superintendents Initiative\, CoSN (Consortium for School Networking) \nThis edLeader Panel series is presented by CoSN and AASA.\nSponsored by ClassLink \nLearn more about viewing the live presentation and the recording\, earning your CE certificate\, and using our new accessibility features. As technology tools for learning continue to grow and evolve\, school leaders need to know how best to leverage technology to meet the learning needs of each student. Whatever students’ disabilities or learning differences are\, appropriate technology tools can help them overcome their learning hurdles. \nIn this edLeader Panel\, three superintendents share the strategies their districts implement to assure that the teachers and staff have the knowledge and skills to effectively leverage the tools that technology can provide so that each student can be a successful learner. Free online resources created to assist school leaders in ensuring accessibility for all learners will also be shared. \nThis edLeader Panel is of particular value to superintendents\, K-12 school and district leaders\, and aspiring school leaders. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions to the panelists during the live broadcast. \n\n\n\nAbout the Presenters \nDr. Jill Louters has worked in education for 35 years as a teacher\, administrator\, trainer\, and superintendent.
