If you’d like to receive the details as soon as they are available\, please contact\, Dr. Jill Brown\, jbrown@cosn.org. \nCoSN’s Framework of Essential Skills of the K-12 CTOLinks to an external site. is comprised of three primary professional categories in the education technology field: Leadership & Vision\, Understanding the Educational Environment\, and Managing Technology & Support Resources.  Each of these categories includes 10 essential skill areas\, outlining the responsibilities and knowledge needed to be a viable educational technology leader. \nAs a corporate partner supporting K-12 schools\, CoSN’s Framework of Essential Skills is valuable in aligning your efforts with the priorities of K-12 technology leaders. Understanding key areas such as “Leadership & Vision\, Educational Environment\, and Managing Technology” enables you to tailor solutions to address real school needs\, communicate effectively with leaders\, and build stronger\, long-term partnerships. This alignment positions you as a trusted advisor and thought partner\, helping school leaders achieve their vision. \nParticipants successfully completing the course will receive a Certificate of Completion\, earn 9 CEA Credits toward CETL® recertification\, and have access to the course materials for one full year. \nThis course is equivalent to 16 CEU’s or Contact Hours. \nThis section meets: \n\n\nTuesday\, Sept 30  – 1 pm PT/4 pm ET\nTuesday\, Oct 7 – 1 pm PT/4 pm ET\nTuesday\, Oct 14 – 1 pm PT/4 pm ET\nTuesday\, Oct 21 – 1 pm PT/4 pm ET\nTuesday\, Oct 28 – 1 pm PT/4 pm ET\nTuesday\, Nov 4 – 1 pm PT/4 pm ET\nTuesday\, Nov 11 – 1 pm PT/4 pm ET\nTuesday\, Nov 18 – 1 pm PT/4 pm ET\n\n\n*Sessions are recorded if you are unable to make an individual session.\n\n\nOur subject matter experts and instructors regularly update this course with current information.
