Online Communities of Practice

Educators need to become more connected to resources, tools, colleagues, experts, and learning activities both within and beyond schools. Participation in online communities of practice is a key way for educators to connect. CoSN uses online communities in education as models to improve teacher and leader effectiveness, enhance strategies for improving student learning, increase productivity, and inform research.

Each year, CoSN runs the Teaming for Transformation online community of practice, a hybrid professional development opportunity that allows districts pursuing digital conversions to come together in a site visit and interactive online community. This year's cohort will focus on Leading Second Order Change as part of Teaming for Transformation 4.
