The memorial fund honors the late-industry giant Charles Blaschke, who conducted pioneering research and analysis on the ever-changing U.S. education landscape for over 50 years.
 

CoSN Launches New Academy for Early Career K-12 EdTech Leaders

CoSN today launched the Early Career K-12 CTO Academy – a program to help new chief technology officers enhance their leadership skills.  
 
Designed for education technology directors with fewer than four years of experience, the first-of-its-kind program will provide new career CTOs with practical strategies to use in their school systems and carry throughout their professional careers. The program is developed in collaboration with DellEMC.
 

CoSN Issues Updated Toolkit to Tackle Nation’s “Homework Gap”

 
CoSN today released an updated version of its digital equity toolkit, titled “Supporting Students & Families in Out-of-School Learning.” The resource, which provides school leaders with strategies to help students and families who do not have adequate Internet access at home, includes a new section on how districts can partner with their local governments and communities to improve digital equity.

CoSN Releases Outcomes of 2013 K-12 Technology Leadership Forums

Washington, DC (November 14, 2013) – The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) today released two follow-up reports on the association’s 2013 Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Leadership Forums held in March and June 2013. The first CTO forum report, titled “The ‘Undiscussables’ of Technology Leadership: Engaging in Challenging Conversations,” examines the primary district-level leadership challenges facing CTOs from elevating their districts’ learning environments.
