The window to file an application for the $7.17 billion Emergency Connectivity Funds closes on August 13, 2021. Schools and libraries can apply for financial support to purchase laptops and tablets, Wi-Fi hotspots, modems, routers, and broadband connections for off-campus use by students, school staff, and library patrons. During this 45-day application filing window, eligible schools and libraries can submit requests for funding to purchase eligible equipment and services for the 2021-22 school year.
Last week, CoSN’s Solution Session partner, Comcast’s Internet Essentials hosted a webinar to provide details and support to districts that are applying or considering applying for ECF. Access the webinar archive online and the slide deck via the Partner Portal

The Universal Service Administrative Company will serve as the program’s administrator with FCC oversight.
