This isn’t theory-it’s operations-level transformation. In this session, two leaders from Agua Fria HSD showcase how AI-integrated workflows are actively redefining productivity across education departments. As the first public high school district to launch full-scale ChatGPT EDU, Agua Fria has moved beyond experimentation into full adoption with measurable results.
From HR and IT to curriculum and communications, presenters walk attendees through real workflows that have streamlined systems, reduced staff fatigue, improved turnaround time, and saved money. They’ll also share how these changes were introduced through a human-centered lens-grounded in ethics, professional learning, and clarity.
Attendees will leave with an actionable blueprint for identifying AI opportunities in their own organizations, sample workflow maps, and key questions every leader should ask to ensure responsible, sustainable implementation. This session is built for decision-makers ready to scale smart-not just adopt tools-and learn from a district setting the pace for AI integration in public education.
Agua Fria isn’t just piloting AI-we’re structuring it. We’re proud to be one of the first public school districts in the nation to establish a dedicated Innovation & AI Department, tasked with systemwide support for ethical, impactful AI implementation. Our work goes beyond tech access-we’ve developed a paid AI Ambassador program that empowers educators across sites to lead professional learning, co-design workflows, and serve as thought partners in district transformation. This grassroots-meets-strategic approach ensures AI adoption is scalable, sustainable, and built with staff voice at the center. Attendees will gain insight into how to design similar structures in their own districts and leave with tools to take immediate next steps-whether they’re just starting or ready to scale.
