You Are CoSN
CoSN is a membership organization, and our members are what make our community and network so vibrant. The greatest benefit CoSN offers is an easy way for you to reach out to the edtech community, to get answers, share knowledge, and help each other grow and learn.
The national office of CoSN works closely with state chapters to develop and deliver professional development, build capacity among members, provide leadership and policy recommendations, advocate on behalf of technology officers, and much more.
We have over 2050 school districts reaching over 11 million students. Our state presence is expanding with 33 CoSN Chapters in 34 states who function at the grassroots level to further effect change.
If you’re interested in starting a chapter in your state, reach out to membership@cosn.org.
CoSN is a future-focused association that connects you to EdTech leaders nationwide. In addition to providing you with a network of your peers, CoSN produces cutting-edge resources that will empower you and your team to work smarter and make a bigger impact on your community.
CoSN is home to over 2050+ school districts, independent, charter, and private schools, and educational service agencies across the country. The benefits of membership include access to exclusive resources, a network of EdTech leaders, discounted prices on CETL certification and much more!
The CoSN Network is our member-only online community platform, where you can engage with edtech leaders across the country (and in some cases the world). Learn best practices, share what’s working for you, and take part in discourse that will elevate the EdTech landscape.
As a CoSN corporate member you will have opportunities to hear from and engage with these leaders at our year-round events. Members are also invited to share their expertise by serving on CoSN Committees, participating in EdTech leader forums, and taking part in discussions on our member-only community, the CoSN Network.
We are fortunate to work with many exceptional leaders and districts, and every year we recognize several of them with our annual awards. Awards are given to individuals and teams who demonstrate outstanding vision in K-12 education technology.
The purpose of the CoSN Membership Committee is to advance membership growth, retention and value by serving as a resource and sounding board to CoSN’s membership staff on the development of strategy and campaigns. The committee is responsible for evaluating current and proposed members’ benefits, resources and potential membership structures and pricing to be reviewed and approved by the CoSN Board of Directors.
