Chantell Manahan spent nearly ten years teaching high school French and English before moving into the Technology Director role, and Chantell is focused on keeping teaching, learning, and data at the center of decision making. She has earned master’s degrees in Secondary Education and Educational Leadership and an Educational Specialist degree, holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certificate, and maintains certifications as a Google for Education trainer and a Google Administrator. She earned her Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL) certification from CoSN in 2017, and she will complete her Doctor of Education in 2024. Her team won the 2022 Indiana CTO Council Team Award.
Chantell has served on the CETL Ambassadors committee and helped host the annual CETL Summit at the CoSN Conference, and she currently serves on the CoSN board. She also serves on the Indiana CTO Council, the Indiana CoSN chapter, where she helps plan the annual Indiana CTO Clinic and serves as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion chair. Chantell is a product of Indiana’s CTO2Be mentorship program, and she has served as a mentor in the program for the past four years. Chantell is passionate about student agency, data interoperability, and the impact technology can have on educational outcomes.
