Learn the fundamentals of IT security and provide advanced persistent protection for your students’ information.
This facilitated online course will help IT staff learn the fundamentals of IT security and improve their understanding of enterprise security issues. The content is comprised of three modules – 1) Network Security, 2) Risks and Controls, and 3) Vulnerabilities and Mitigation. You will have access to the course content for one year.
You are eligible for 9 CEA hours for CETL® recertification and district professional learning needs by completing live sessions and the independent offline work. If a school emergency arises and you miss a session, you are expected to watch the recording and notify the instructor. Certificates will be issued once the instructor verifies final participation at the conclusion of the course.
