CoSN Honors Katy ISD with 2012 TEAM Award for Tireless Ed Tech Leadership, Innovative Initiatives

Washington, DC (March 7, 2012) – The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) today presented its 2012 TEAM Award to the Katy Independent School District, located in Katy, TX. Each year during its annual conference, CoSN recognizes a team of technology leaders in a U.S. K-12 school district for using technology in an impactful way to help reimagine the classroom. Katy ISD was selected as this year’s recipient for enhancing teaching and learning through its proven technology infrastructure and strong partnership with parents, teachers and school leaders.

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Associate Superintendent Harold Rowe Recipient of CoSN’s 2012 Withrow Award

Washington, DC (March 7, 2012) – The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) today announced that Harold Rowe, the Associate Superintendent for Technology and School Services at Houston, TX-based Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD), is the winner of its 2012 Withrow Award. Rowe was honored for his visionary leadership in leveraging technology to transcend education throughout the district.

CoSN Accepting Nomination for 2013 Withrow CTO and Team Awards

Washington, DC (October 18, 2012) – The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) is now accepting nominations for the association’s 2013 Withrow Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Award and TEAM Award, which annually recognize an individual and a team, respectively, who have demonstrated exceptional technology leadership in K-12 education. Winners will be celebrated at the CoSN 2013 conference on March 10-13, 2013, in San Diego, CA.

CoSN Honors Hampton Township School District’s Ed McKaveney and Former Joplin Schools’ Traci House

Washington, DC (March 13, 2013) – The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) today named Hampton Township School District (PA) Technology Director Ed McKaveney the association’s 2013 Withrow Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Award recipient and presented former Joplin Schools (MO) Technology Director Traci House with a special information and technology crisis preparedness award.
