CoSN CEO Search Updates
Since Keith Krueger announced in August his plans to step down as CEO of CoSN, we have formed a search committee to assist in the transition and in the important role of selecting his replacement. Our goal is to keep members informed of the process and to provide avenues to participate, particularly through surveys and listening sessions. We understand that change can sometimes be challenging, but we are committed to making our process as transparent as possible and keeping lines of communication open with our members.
Anticipated Timeline for CEO Search
- September 2026 - A survey will be distributed to all members of CoSN seeking their input. Focused listening sessions for key stakeholder groups will commence.
- October 2026 - The search committee will develop a job description based on input and post the position and future updates on this webpage.
- November 2026 - The search committee will review applications.
- December 2026 - The search committee will invite selected candidates to interview for the position.
- January 2027 - Round 1 (virtual interviews)
- February 2027 - Round 2 (in-person) interviews
- March 2027 - Ratification of the CEO Hire by the CoSN Board
- April 2027 - Announcement of the new CEO at the CoSN annual conference
