New Briefs Highlight Global Perspectives on Leadership, Technology Integration and Student-Centered Learning in Spanish Education

Washington, D.C. (October 15, 2024) CoSN today released four insightful briefs detailing key findings from the 2024 International Education Delegation to Spain, sponsored by HP and PowerSchool. The delegation offered a rich, multifaceted view of Spain’s educational landscape, exploring its historical roots, contemporary practices and forward-looking innovations.

From visiting a school designed by renowned architect Antonio Gaudi to examining the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in classrooms, the delegation gained invaluable insights into the strategies and innovations shaping Spanish education today.

“To lead innovation in K-12 education, it’s essential to stay ahead of emerging trends and strategies. These new resources will empower North American EdTech leaders by showcasing how Spain and the European Union are driving advancements in AI and other key innovations,” said Keith Krueger, CEO, CoSN. “We hope this inspires meaningful dialogue, deeper understanding and informed action.”

  • Vision and Leadership: Clear, effective leadership is critical for the success of educational initiatives.
  • Student-Centered Learning: Emphasis on learner agency, project-based learning and technology integration to create enriching educational experiences.
