We're seeking passionate CoSN members to join the Board of Directors and help shape the future of EdTech. This year, we're electing 2 Institutional members and 1 Corporate member.
Nomination Process: Candidates must complete the online application. Applications must be submitted by Friday, September 27, 2024. Applicants will receive a notice regarding their status of their application during the week of October 21. Candidates selected for the candidate slate will be invited to participate in a 2-3 minute video interview with the Nominations Committee Chair or the CoSN Board Chair. The video will be shared with other CoSN members during the election process.
Candidate Criteria: Applicants must maintain active CoSN membership (current year ending June 30, 2025 and beyond). Diversity is highly valued at CoSN. The Nominations Committee considers various factors when evaluating candidates for the board. The committee takes these criteria, along with other considerations, into account while selecting nominees. To gain insight, you can review our list of current board members here.
Responsibilities: Elected individuals must commit to participating in three (3) annual Board meetings. We are planning an in-person Board Meeting in March 2025, just before the CoSN Annual Conference in Seattle, WA. Travel support will be provided for this meeting.
