The TLE Online Course participants will delve into the five core practice areas of the TLE Seal: Leadership, Business, Data Security, Professional Development, and Classroom. Throughout the course, you'll have access to:
Material Examples: Real-world examples of documents and materials used in successful TLE Seal applications.
Scoring Practice: Hands-on exercises to practice evaluating materials you plan to submit for the TLE Seal.
By completing this course, participants will gain the knowledge to enhance their school's data privacy protections, build a culture of trust and transparency within their district and achieve recognition through the TLE Seal, demonstrating a commitment to student data privacy.
About the TLE Program
The TLE Seal Program was developed by CoSN in collaboration with a diverse group of 28 school system leaders nationwide and is supported by AASA, The School Superintendents Association, the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO), and ASCD. Its requirements have been validated by more than 50 school systems, and take an institution-wide approach to student data privacy.
