Although the use of technology tools for teaching and learning has been around for quite some time, it is still incumbent upon school leaders to communicate both the critical “how” and “why” behind using technology tools for learning with a broad range of audiences. In this edLeader Panel, three leading-edge superintendents share the strategies they use to communicate with parents and their extended communities, as well as with district internal staff, regarding the importance of effectively leveraging technology to prepare students for their futures as well as meet their current learning needs.

Specific strategies for communicating information around new technologies such as AI will be highlighted. The role of social media within school district settings is another area that the three superintendents will explore. Free online resources for school leaders will be shared.

This edLeader Panel is of particular value to superintendents, K-12 school and district leaders, and aspiring school leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
