Hi everyone, and welcome to our special behind-the-scenes look at how Beaverton School District in Beaverton, OR is revolutionizing device repairs and contributing to a more sustainable future. In this video, you’ll get an exclusive glimpse into our board-level repair process where our skilled team expertly de-solders failed chips and replaces them with functioning ones. This could be from other broken devices or new chips we’ve managed to acquire at bargain prices.

We’re proud to share that with an initial investment of just $6,000 in equipment, we’ve achieved incredible savings of over $150,000 in just one year by repairing instead of replacing devices. This not only benefits our budget but also extends the life of these devices significantly.

But that’s not all. Our efforts go beyond just financial savings. By keeping these devices running longer and recycling parts, we’re actively reducing electronic waste and making a positive impact on the environment.

We’re excited to share our journey with you and invite you to join us in this important work. Whether you’re interested in the technical aspects of our repairs or you’re passionate about sustainability, there’s something in this video for everyone. Let’s dive in!

And don’t forget to reach out if you have any questions or would like to know more about our processes and impact. We’re always happy to chat about our work and the difference we’re making. Enjoy the video!
