Collaboration is key when it comes to change that really matters. For the last four years, CoSN assembles an international advisory board of educators, edtech leaders, and changemakers to inform K-12 innovation efforts to support student success.
That’s why we invite you to nominate yourself and/or colleagues to join the 2022 Advisory Board.
The Advisory Board engages a thoughtful and important discussion about the major themes hindering, driving, and enabling teaching and learning innovation at schools. This work is divided into three steps:
-
an initial survey to select the topics for discussion
-
group discussion(s)
-
a concluding survey to capture the final thoughts from Advisory Board Members and determine the top topics to feature in publications and resulting materials.
Please find some key details below about the Advisory Board. You may also find more information here.
-
Advisory Board work will take place over approximately 2 months: September 13-November 17. Most of the Advisory Board’s work will take place during the discussion phase from September 27-November 8, 2021.
-
Discussions will take place asynchronously in an online community platform and via optional synchronous video calls.
-
The estimated Advisory Board time commitment will be about 3.5-10 hours (for example, attending 3 synchronous discussion calls and completing two 15-minute surveys = 3.5 hours).
-
The Advisory Board will select the top three topics in three categories: Hurdles (barriers), Accelerators (global mega-trends), and Tech Enablers (tools).
-
Two resulting reports will be released in early 2022 at two live, virtual Driving K-12 Innovation Summits.
