As a lifelong learner, I am thrilled to be the newest member of the CoSN team. Our team and its members provide significant support for technology leaders K-12 institutions. In addition, CoSN has a wide variety of membership resources, including nurturing a community of peers for collaboration, vehicles for sharing knowledge, and opportunities for professional development to create and grow quality, equitable learning environments for all students.
I furthered my education throughout my career by participating in professional membership association committees, their online communities, taking in-service and online courses, forming a state CoSN chapter, and attending conferences. In 1999, I earned my Ph.D. in education technology and continued to participate in opportunities to support my continued professional growth and effectiveness as an educator. The work of supporting technology for teaching and learning is challenging, ever-changing, and crucial to the success of all students. Few careers can have such a positive impact in the world of education today.  As your responsibilities grow and you work to keep up with the ever-changing technology tools and resources, CoSN is here to help.
CoSN strives to provide timely professional learning opportunities to our members; we adjust to shifting roles to provide more support than ever before. CoSN’s seasoned instructors, directors, and committee resources provide the specific content you need to learn from best practices, current policies, and like experiences. These learning opportunities also model best practices that you can, in turn, share with your team.
We are offering the following professional learning opportunities for you, your staff, and leadership teams.  This is not an exhaustive list; you can follow CoSN’s current topics through our blogs, newsletter, the online community, and social media. Whatever your preferred learning opportunities, CoSN strives to support your work.
Keep updated on all of our offerings here:  cosn.org   Remember you must have a CoSN account to see the course offerings!   Finally, do you need something we don’t offer? Reach out to us and let us know!
