CoSN State Chapters: Committed to Chapter Success

At CoSN, we believe collaboration and community drive educational innovation and excellence. Our State Chapters are vital to CoSN, serving as hubs for networking, learning, and advocacy. This one-pager highlights the programs and benefits available to our State Chapters, ensuring their success.

As a CoSN State Chapter, you have access to:

  • Learning Opportunities: Our annual State Chapter Leaders' Meeting and bimonthly meetings offer platforms for leaders to connect, share insights, and collaborate on innovative strategies.
  • Online Community: The exclusive State Chapter Leaders' community within the CoSN Network allows leaders to share information, ask questions, and learn from peers in a collaborative environment.
  • Advocacy Tools: CoSN equips chapters with essential tools like Phone2Action for effective policy advocacy. We also provide updates on cybersecurity bills and other critical issues to keep chapters informed.
  • Customized Programs: We tailor programs to meet your members' needs, including CETL cohorts, customized cybersecurity programs, and the Early Career Academy, supporting groups as small as ten participants.
  • Chapter Event Support: CoSN supports chapter events, or CTO Clinics®, which are professional development events for district technology leaders focusing on emerging trends and effective learning environments.
  • Unified Dues: CoSN collects and returns chapter dues without administrative surcharges, streamlining membership processes and enhancing member value.
  • One Chapter per State Model: CoSN ensures equitable representation and robust engagement, with each chapter hosting a single state (there is one exception with Washington and Oregon sharing a single Chapter, ACPE).
  • Branding Support: CoSN offers guidance and resources for chapters needing branding assistance, drawing from our recent rebranding experience to help with name changes, logo redesigns, and more.
  • Scholarships: CoSN provides scholarships for chapter leaders to participate in Advocacy Day, international conferences, and other professional development opportunities, alleviating financial barriers and enhancing leadership skills.

CoSN offers a range of valuable resources to support our State Chapters. These offerings ensure that our chapters can thrive and make a significant impact in their regions.
