Noah Bookman

Noah Bookman serves as the Chief Solutions Officer at Education Analytics (EA), where he oversees product development, business development, and partner engagement. Before joining EA, Noah founded and led California’s CORE Data Collaborative, which, at its peak, encompassed nearly 200 Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and represented one-third of California’s K-12 students. In this role, he focused on creating data-driven strategies to improve educational outcomes across the state.

1.  How long have you been a member of CoSN? 

“Since 2024."

2.  Why did you join CoSN? What do you enjoy about being a member?

“Education Analytics joined CoSN to connect with forward-thinking leaders and collaborate on innovative solutions that advance educational equity through data. Being a member allows us to share insights, learn from peers, and stay at the forefront of technology-driven improvements in education."

3.  How did you get into the field of educational technology?

"I started my career as a teacher, where I developed a deep interest in how education policy shapes classroom experiences and outcomes. This led me to focus on using data as a tool for continuous improvement, which ultimately brought me into the field of educational technology. I saw the potential for technology and data to drive systemic change and better support educators and students, which has been the foundation of my work ever since."

4.  What does your daily work entail?

"My daily work focuses on driving innovation at the intersection of product development, business growth, and strategic partnerships. I collaborate with teams internally and with partners to design clear project roadmaps, facilitate cross-organizational engagements, and ensure we achieve critical milestones that advance our mission."

5.  What emerging trends or technologies in education are you most excited about, and why?

"I’m most excited about the proliferation of open-source, modern data-stack tools like dbt, which are transforming how we approach education analytics. These tools vastly improve efficiency and transparency, enabling us to develop meaningful insights more quickly and collaboratively, ultimately empowering educators and policymakers to make data-driven decisions that benefit students."

"Somebody, Somewhere"

7.  What are three words you would use to describe yourself?

“Curious, Hard-working, Collaborative"

8.  What is your favorite Fall activity or hobby?

"Water polo."
